Shakir Karim is a Lecturer and PhD researcher at the University of Sydney, focusing on health informatics and information systems, health services and systems, social network analysis, and emerging technologies. He has extensive experience across academia and industry, including senior leadership roles in Professional Services at SAI Global Limited, Sydney.

Shakir has served as a Lecturer at Central Queensland University, Australian Catholic University, and the University of Sydney, as well as several international colleges.
