Student Support Framework
At AIBI Higher Education, we are committed to providing a supportive environment to facilitate living and successfully studying in Australia across all stages of the student life cycle, from enrolment to graduation.
The Student Support Framework policy articulates our commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment and to enabling students to engage with the local cultural, social, and business communities.
Support Services
Our team are committed to providing all AIBI HE students with full learning support, providing academic resources, workshops and individualised support to help them succeed in their studies.
Free mental health support is also available to all AIBI HE students. We have partnered with The Practice Wellbeing Centre to provide professional-level counselling to students who may be dealing with anxiety, adjusting to life changes, grief, loss, anger management, social skills, and more.
Additionally, students can speak directly to our team regarding career advice and attend our workshops hosted by industry professionals to help them better understand the job market.
Respectful Relationships & Safe Campus
- Respectful relationships and sexual consent
- Bystander awareness and intervention
- Support services and reporting options
This training helps students understand their rights and responsibilities, build respectful connections with others, and know how to seek help or support if needed.
We also provide ongoing resources, confidential support, and clear reporting pathways for anyone who experiences or witnesses unacceptable behaviour, including sexual harassment or assault.
For support or to report an incident, please contact one of our Student Services staff in person or at 1300 23 77 41 / [email protected] and please visit our policy here.
Withdrawing or deferring your studies?
If you need to withdraw from your course or defer your studies, you must submit a formal request to AIBI Higher Education using the appropriate form. Deferment may be approved for compassionate or compelling circumstances, and international students must ensure that any change complies with their visa conditions. Withdrawal can affect tuition fees, refunds, and academic records, so it’s important to check the relevant policy before applying. Our Student Support team can guide you through the process, explain your options, and help you understand any academic or financial implications.
