Wave Rock: Wave Rock is estimated to be around 2.7 billion years old, making it one of the oldest rock formations in the world. It’s about 15 meters tall and is around 110 meters long. Oh, and I’m sure you can guess where it got it’s name from!
Karijini National Park: Renowned for its ancient geological formations, with rocks dating back over 2.5 billion years, Karjini National Park is truly stunning! It sits on the the traditional lands of the Banyjima, Kurrama, and Innawonga Aboriginal people.
Ningaloo Reef: Unlike many other coral reefs, Ningaloo Reef is easily accessible from the shore. It’s also one of the best places in the world to swim with whale sharks, the world’s largest fish. They visit the reef from March to August each year and are extremely gentle!
Quokkas: We just have to give a special shoutout to literally one of the cutest animals on this planet, the Quokka! Easiest to spot on Rottnest Island, just west of Perth, these smiley balls of joy can also be found at a number of mainland sites.
