Successful scholarship applicants can enjoy a 16%-30% reduction on their tuition fees throughout their degree. (take out the bit about $10000 as that’s just applicable to undergrad scholarships).

We’re dedicated to supporting you throughout your postgraduate degree and offer scholarships to domestic postgraduate students so that we can make university-level education more accessible.

We aim to support people from a range of diverse backgrounds, including those who have experienced hardship or are minorities as well as individuals who show enthusiasm and talent.

Our domestic scholarships are available to Australian citizens, permanent residents and humanitarian visa holders as well as New Zealand citizens.

At AIBI HE, we believe in focusing on the future, with digital transformation. This scholarship supports people who can demonstrate that they meet the criteria below for our postgraduate courses in digital transformation.

Eligibility
To be eligible for the AIBI HE Opportunities & Inclusion Scholarship, you:

• Must be an Australian citizen, permanent resident or humanitarian visa holder, or a New Zealand citizen.

• Must be 18 years of age or older at the time of course commencement.

• Have completed the relevant qualification or work experience as required.

It rewards people who demonstrate community involvement, academic drive and a committed desire to gain professional cyber security skills.

How to Apply

Fill out an online scholarship application form. This form has questions about your personal details, academic achievements, and interests. You can expect a response from us within two weeks.

STEP 0

Our team will review your application and let you know if you’ve made it into the next stage. If you make it to the next stage, you’ll be asked to attend an interview (in-person or online) where we can get to know you better.

STEP 0

If you attend an interview, we’ll let you know its outcome within one week. Our team will also let you know the next steps for enrolling into your course.

A limited number of our Scholarships are awarded each trimester. We recommend submitting your application as early as possible.

Yes, scholarship applications for each trimester close two weeks before classes start.

AIBI HE awards a limited number of domestic student scholarships every trimester.

We advise you to apply as soon as possible to avoid missing out.

When completing your application make sure you:

  • Tell us about yourself – we want to know who you are and what you aspire to be
  • Think beyond your academic results
  • Consider the extracurricular activities and communities you’re involved in
  • Keep your application simple and relevant
  • Proofread your application
Currently, AIBI Higher Education students can only be awarded one scholarship at any time.

If you are successful in being offered an AIBI Higher Education scholarship, you will enjoy a 16% to 30% reduction on standard total tuition fees. Please note, that you will also need to maintain a greater than 50% subject completion rate to maintain the scholarship.

Once your scholarship application is submitted, it will be reviewed by our academic team.

You will then be notified as to whether you proceed to the next stage of attending an interview.

If you need to change your application, please submit a new one and we’ll consider that version instead.

To complete your AIBI Higher Education enrolment, you will need to complete a study application form before your scholarship application form.

For example, this may include, but is not limited to those:

  • Identifying as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander
  • Being from a multicultural or refugee background
  • Having a disability or long-term medical condition
  • Being a carer for a person with a disability
  • Experiencing financial hardship, including receiving a means-tested Centrelink benefit or a Low Income Health Care Card
  • Being from a disadvantaged or low socio-economic background
  • Identifying as LGBTIQA+
  • Living in a regional or remote area
