The reputation of AIBI Higher Education’s hinges on excellence in decision making. Good governance plays an important role in decision making by ensuring the Institute meets its strategic, educational, legislative, and community responsibilities.
The centerpiece of corporate governance is a formally constituted governing body, which at AIBI Higher Education is referred to as the Corporate Board. The Corporate Board is accountable for the governance and performance of the entity overall, including, in the case of registered higher education providers, meeting and continuing to meet the requirements of the Higher Education Standards Framework (Threshold Standards) 2015 (HESF 2015).
Governance at AIBI Higher Education follows the traditional model of Australian universities, with ultimate accountability for compliance and quality resting with the Corporate Board.
